PT-SP-HD18-48G – HDMI 2.1 48Gbps Splitter: Multi-Format Signal Distribution and Downscaling for AV Installations

• High-Bandwidth 8K Signal Support: The splitter processes HDMI 2.1 signals up to 48Gbps, enabling distribution of 8K 60Hz (4:2:0, 12bit) and 4K 120Hz (4:4:4, 12bit) content. Full compatibility with VRR, ALLM, QMS, QFT, and SBTM ensures support for advanced video features in demanding AV applications.

• 12bit Colour and HDR Format Handling: Supports 12bit colour depth with HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and a wide range of chroma subsampling formats including RGB, YCbCr 4:4:4, 4:2:2, and YUV 4:2:0. This versatility accommodates high dynamic range and colour-critical workflows in control rooms and signage systems.

• Audio De-Embedding Capability: Integrated digital SPDIF and analogue 3.5mm outputs extract audio from HDMI streams. This function enables direct routing to external audio systems or amplifiers, supporting flexible audio distribution in meeting spaces and presentation environments.

• Comprehensive EDID and HDCP Management: Extensive EDID management options and HDCP 1.4/2.3 handshake control facilitate reliable source and display negotiation. This ensures stable operation with a broad spectrum of AV hardware, minimising compatibility issues in hybrid or legacy setups.

• CEC Control and Downscaling Functions: A dedicated CEC On/Off switch allows precise control of display communication. Integrated downscaling supports 8K to 4K and 8K/4K to 1080p conversion, enabling seamless integration with lower-resolution displays within mixed-technology environments.
